Jan Rimerman (Studio #33)

Jan Rimerman is inspired by changing forms in light & shadow in nature.  Jan’s work presents organic shapes & rhythm of plants in gardens of the Pacific Northwest.  Painting with fluid watercolors with the addition of colored pencil and fluid acrylics the layered colors to glow and appear three-dimensional.

Rimerman studied at Willamette University, City University-London, Portland State University and University of Washington.  Find Jan’s work at Coos Art Museum, Portland Art Museum Rental Sales Gallery, Fairweather Gallery and at Lightcatcher Art Museum Gift Shop in Bellingham.  Rock…Paper…Turtle…Art for Wetlands Event will be celebrated on World Turtle Day May 23.

NOTE: Pathways through the garden with two sets of stairs to reach the studio.  Not wheelchair accessible.
