Deborah Marble (Studio #29)
Deborah Marble is a watercolor painter. She particularly enjoys drawing and painting the human figure, some still life and a little landscape. She loves watercolor for its ability to swirl and blend. Her interest in drawing goes back a very long way. After graduating from Duke University, she took a certificate course in Physical Therapy. Working with patients for many years has been helpful to her drawing. She has also worked as a courtroom sketch artist since the late ‘80’s. Deborah and her husband have lived in the same house for 47 years with their two daughters, one of whom is an illustrator of books for children.
NOTE: one flight of stairs, good hand railing on both sides.
Deborah will be sharing her studio with her daughter Abigail Marble (Painting).
