I love to capture images I see in nature that inspire and captivate me . I approach my art with emotive and high contrast colors, striving to capture expressions of light, revealing the mysteries within the interstitial spaces.

I began drawing portraits of my favorite musicians and authors many years ago. After years of working in architecture and design I returned to art full time which has currently evolved into pen with watercolor and block printing.

I explored, lived and worked in Hawaii for many years and spent many hours swimming with sea creatures. Much of my art reflects memories from these moments. I now live with my husband, two children and 2 dogs in the Pacific Northwest and love it here! I continue to be inspired by the surrounding nature and often paint things that my friends suggest.
