Kasey Wanford (Studio #30)
When beginning new work, I let my mind check out and intuition take over. Through intuition, I can transmit my mood and feelings with color choice and movements with the brush. Later, with my brain checked back in, I make thoughtful decisions to pull the abstract together, making stronger lines here and there, creating balance, simplifying, or adding energy. By embracing these dual aspects of the creative process, I'm able to bring the art to life in a way I find energizing and engaging.
NOTE: Steep driveway but no stairs.
Kasey serves as our Board Secretary and will be hosting Rieko Warrens (Painting, Jewelry) at Studio #30.
